The share market indicates that commercial undertakings arc expected to prosper. Land sales are at a high lovel and on all hands we see building in progress. And the Colony has the legacy of many fat years in the way of finc roads, substantial buildings and solid Harbour assots. It would be idle to deny that there must be some anxiety about the immediate future, but a revival, and vithin a measurable time, is inevitable: and once the opportunity for which they are daily waiting is afforded, the wonderful recuperative power of the Chinese Race will make the recovery a rapid onc.
